Job Description

This position encompasses two interrelated functions. First, it reports to the Director of Off-Campus Centers and Academic Programs, handling administrative duties for the South Charleston campus. Second, it serves as a liaison between individual high schools and Marshall University with the main purpose of establishing dual credit and dual enrollment courses for high school students.

Administrative Duties

* Managing office communications with internal staff and external partners, including responding to phone inquiries and addressing request or concerns in a professional manner.

* Developing the master course schedule for South Charleston campus.

* Assessing course requirements and collaborating with relevant departments to address class concerns or cancellations.

* Managing pricing and procurement for the South Charleston campus.

* Handling encumbrances and requisitions.

* Supporting the director of the South Charleston campus in recruiting adjunct faculty and managing related paperwork.

* Procure required materials and supplies for the South Charleston Campus.

* Generating drafts of correspondence and reports for the Director of Off-Campus Programs.

* Organizing, participating in, and recording minutes for meetings.

* Identifying and evaluating opportunities to expand degree, micro-credentialing, and professional programs on campus.
