position overviewidentify equipment without preventative maintenance (pm) plan(s). Develop a systematic, one-page, all department, pm completion percentage measure. Systems knowledge will enable this to move faster. Provide a one-page report to the director of maintenance & engineering showing the weekly, cumulative percent completion for each month by department. This person will get exposure to assigning pm tasks to our hourly work force as well.
This person will facilitate the improvement of one pm plan per month with involvement of the pm team; which could be as simple as creating a plan on a machine that is lacking a pm plan presently. This improvement will be sent out to maintenance & engineering leadership to compare the old versus the newly improved pm. Also, there are key pm samples required to be sent out or taken by contractor on a specific frequency and keeping that schedule 100% on-track will round out the requirement.
