This role is the operational heartbeat behind all of it.

We’re looking for a high-capacity Office Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and wants to be a true leader — not just someone who “handles paperwork.”

What You’re Walking Into

You will oversee operations for:

  • Grass Busters Lawn Care & Landscaping
  • Lawn Doctor of Charleston–Huntington–Ashland
  • Holiday Lighting Heroes of Charleston–Huntington–Ashland

You’ll manage two virtual assistants:

  • CSR / Marketing Coordinator
  • Sales Representative

You are the connector between office and field. You are the compliance guardrail. You are the financial control center. You are the internal air traffic controller.

No pressure. (Okay… some pressure.)

What This Role Actually Does
  • Operations & Coordination:
    Ensure smooth communication between office and field crews;
    Keep scheduling, production targets, and internal systems aligned;
    Build structure and enforce accountability
  • Financial Management:
    Oversee A/P and A/R;
    Monitor collections and aging;
    Process payroll accurately and on time;
    Maintain reporting and financial organization
  • Compliance & Regulation:
    You will manage pesticides licensing; DOT compliance; H-2B labor documentation;
    Vehicle registrations;
    Business licenses;
    Insurance documentation;
    All other regulatory requirements
  • HR Support:
    Pre-screen applicants;
    Maintain employee records;
    Assist with onboarding;
    Keep certifications and documentation current

The Pace

This is not a slow administrative role.

Our busy season moves fast. Phone calls come in. Crews are in the field. Deadlines stack up. Compliance matters. Payroll must be right. Customers expect responsiveness.

You’ll need:

  • High attention to detail
  • Strong follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize under pressure
  • Confidence to hold people accountable

  • 5+ years in office management or operations leadership
  • Strong financial administration experience (A/P, A/R, payroll)
  • Experience with compliance and documentation

    Home service industry experience
  • H-2B or DOT compliance familiarity
  • Multi-division operational exposure
