Rubber Processing Shop Technician
Manpower in Huntington, WV is looking for a dependable and hardworking Rubber Processing Shop Technician for a client in the tri-state area. This position involves operating machinery, handling raw rubber materials, monitoring production quality and helping maintain a safe and efficient shop environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate rubber processing equipment and production machinery
- Monitor material quality and production consistency
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate issues to supervisors
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or industrial shop experience preferred
- Experience with rubber processing, molding, extrusion, or fabrication is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
