Warehouse, Material Handler

Job Description

Mancan Staffing is working with a leading metal fabrication facility, seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. In this fast-paced environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient packaging, loading, and unloading of materials. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and possess prior experience in warehouse or shipping & receiving roles.

• Packaging:
  Execute efficient and accurate packaging of metal fabricated products according to company standards and guidelines.
• Heavy Lifting:
  Safely lift and move materials, including occasionally handling loads weighing between 40-45 lbs.
• Loading and Unloading:
  Assist in loading and unloading trucks with materials and finished products.
• Skid Movement:
  Move skids and pallets within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
• Labeling and Paperwork:
  Fill out shipping-related labels and paperwork with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.
• Shop Housekeeping:
  Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

• Physical Fitness:
  Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing 50 lbs.
• Math
  
  Skills:
  
  Possess good math skills to accurately measure and calculate quantities.
• Handwriting:
  Maintain legible handwriting for completing shipping-related labels and paperwork.
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving roles is preferred. Use of forklift preferred.

• Reliability:
  Consistently show up for scheduled shifts and adhere to the rotating weekly schedule.

  Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
