Job Title:

Psychiatric RN - Behavioral Health Nurse (6-Month Contract)

Pay Package:

$45 per hour

Required Skills:

Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Active RN license in West Virginia or a compact state

Minimum 1 year of acute psychiatric RN experience

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Ability to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and participate in care planning

Effective communication skills for collaborating with physicians, supervising staff, and educating patients and families

Strong documentation and clinical skills in mental health environments

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Prior experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting

Hands-on experience supervising LPNs and nursing assistants

Proven ability to manage a busy psychiatric unit efficiently

Other Requirements:

Shift flexibility, with 8 or 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends

Open to local and travel RNs

Valid licensing and certifications as specified

No additional travel or license requirements beyond those listed
