Overview
St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for a Full Time Security Officer for the Main Campus. It is the responsibility of SMMC Security Officers while on duty to provide 24/7 coverage of safety and security to the patients/visitors/employees of St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Responsibilities- Provide 24/7 safety and security coverage for patients, visitors, and employees on the Main Campus.
- Protect patients, staff, and visitors; report on building security and safety issues.
- Oversee parking lot safety, security, and protocol; conduct investigations (criminal and non-criminal).
- Provide special event coverage, including media-related events and VIP coverage.
- Assist with uncooperative individuals who interfere with staff's ability to provide patient care.
- Provide escorts for individuals on campus as needed.
- Provide motorist assistance, including battery jump starts and door unlocks.
- Secure patient valuables and write and submit security reports.
