Branch Specialist; Part Time

Consumers Credit Union is hiring a part-time Branch Specialist (30 hours per week) at the new Huntley branch. This early-career role involves face-to-face interaction with members and offers a hybrid combination of concierge, teller, and personal banker duties.

• Welcome members and create a positive first impression.
• Assist and educate members on self-service options, including Interactive Teller Machines.
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account and service needs.
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans, mortgages, and wealth-management services.
• Recommend improvements that enhance the member experience and branch operations.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, or cash handling). Experience in a financial institution as a teller or personal banker is preferred.
• Comfortable promoting products and services and engaging in consultative, sales-oriented conversations.
• Strong comfort level with technology, including data systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity and commitment to inclusion and diversity.
• Availability to work a 40-hour week on the following schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM
  • Friday: 8:15 AM - 6:15 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:15 AM - 1:15 PM (regular)

The hourly rate for this role is $16.67 to $25.01. The position is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.
