Special Education Co‑Teacher
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches students academic, social and behavioral skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. This position will also include case management of IEPs with expectations to facilitate and lead IEP meetings. Teacher will be co‑teaching Science academic classes and/or teaching within a small instruction classroom.
SUMMARY OF
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Must hold an appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate LBS1 endorsement. Ideal candidate will have co‑teaching experience, a passion for skill‑ experience writing IEP goals, and an ability to lead IEP meetings.
