Make a meaningful impact in K-12 education supporting students' well-being and success as a School Psychologist in northwestern Illinois. This full-time contract role spans the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027, offering an opportunity to serve diverse school communities and age ranges.

You'll have the chance to work in one of two settings: a dedicated role at a single location or an itinerant School Psychologist for multiple campuses. If you bring strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills-especially with experience in diverse, multilingual settings-you'll find this position especially rewarding. Qualifications &

Preferred Experience:
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement for K-12
  • Master's Degree in School Psychology required
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience providing comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students
  • Ability to adapt to itinerant or single-site roles as needed
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff on interventions and behavioral strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education eligibility determinations
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services to students and staff
  • Design and implement evidence-based support plans for academic and social-emotional needs
You'll work 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year-contributing significantly to students' academic achievement and emotional well-being.
