Preschool Teacher Opportunity

Little Journey Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated preschool teacher to join our team.

We are looking for early childhood educators who are passionate about creating engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships with families, and fostering the social, emotional, and academic growth of young children. The teacher is responsible for creating an environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and physical growth of the participants in their assigned classes, and to collaborate in developing creative lesson plans and implementing them in their classrooms.

This part-time position teaches on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from September through mid-May.

Little Journey Preschool at the Huntley Campus of Christ Community believes that each child is a special gift from God, each coming into this world with their own unique gifts and abilities. We believe there is a critical link between a child’s early experiences and later success in life.

We provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can develop physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. We support relationships among children, their families, and preschool staff. All learning activities engage the children so they can explore, experiment, imitate, ask questions, and be questioned to further their thinking and problem-solving skills.
