- A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry.
- Financial services and/or sales experience.
- Financial services registration, licensing, or certification.
- Professional and/or military career progression.
- SIE (which can be obtained without firm sponsorship);
Series 7 and Series 66 will be required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the paid study period. - FINRA registrations required within three months. State insurance licenses will be required.
- Ongoing training will be required from the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and SEC) and mandatory CE training to maintain licenses.

CompensationCompensation includes trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to five years, commissions, and additional compensation for new assets gathered for the first five years. Supplemental starting salary range $45,000 – $100,000.
