- Determining grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheels to be used
- Determining product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground per blue prints and router instructions
- Applicant must be able to setup and use micrometers, dial bore gages, snap gages, profilometers, sin bars, etc
- Attention to detail and following instructions
- Having a general understanding of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
- O.D., I.D and Infeed grinding experience
- Knowledge of gauging equipment for holding close tolerances
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to use hand tools for set-up and assembly
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Work with grinding coolants, cleaning fluids and anti-rust oil.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
