Hours:

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3rd Shift)
Rate: $24.16/Hour plus $2.00 Shift Differential

With general supervision, sets up the proper tooling needed in the thermoforming machines and operates the machines per job specifications.

• Sets up thermoforming machines for operation per job specifications.
• Mounts dies and molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine.
• Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation.
• Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks.
• Performs routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
• Completes required job tickets.
• Works with packers/inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed.
• Directs packers/inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.

• 6 months or more of machine operator experience.
• Knowledge and ability to read, write, and perform basic math and English skills to complete paperwork.
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality control.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good manual dexterity and agility.
• Good leadership skills.
• Ability to use and read calipers (Level One).
