11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3rd Shift)
Rate: $24.16/Hour plus $2.00 Shift Differential
With general supervision, sets up the proper tooling needed in the thermoforming machines and operates the machines per job specifications.
Responsibilities- Sets up thermoforming machines for operation per job specifications.
- Mounts dies and molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine.
- Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation.
- Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks.
- Performs routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
- Completes required job tickets.
- Works with packers/inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed.
- Directs packers/inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
- Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.
- 6 months or more of machine operator experience.
- Knowledge and ability to read, write, and perform basic math and English skills to complete paperwork.
- Understanding of manufacturing and quality control.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good manual dexterity and agility.
- Good leadership skills.
- Ability to use and read calipers (Level One).
