2nd Shift Machine Operator - Device

Position Overview

Machine Operator – Hunts Huntley, IL. 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Rate: $24.16/hour plus $0.50 shift differential. This role is performed under general supervision and requires setting up the proper tooling for thermoforming machines and operating the equipment per job specifications.

• Set up thermoforming machines for operation according to job specifications.
• Mount dies and molds and load rolls of raw materials.
• Engage machines to produce thermo‑formed parts and maintain continuous operation.
• Perform troubleshooting and quality control checks.
• Perform routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
• Complete required job tickets.
• Work with Packers/Inspectors to resolve quality issues.
• Direct Packers/Inspectors to other areas when machines are down for troubleshooting or set‑up.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 6 months of machine operator experience.
• 1-year previous production line experience preferred.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and English skills to complete paperwork.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and agility.
• Leadership skills.
• Self‑starting, willing to learn, and can perform other tasks as required.

• Exposure to heat, toxic fumes, greases, and lubricants.
