Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts according to drawings, blueprints, and specifications. This role requires the ability to use precision measuring instruments, maintain dimensional tolerances, and ensure quality standards are consistently met.

• Operate and monitor CNC lathes to produce quality parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform shop calculations related to dimensions, tooling, speeds, and feeds.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while identifying quality or equipment concerns.

• Previous experience operating CNC lathes preferred.
• Manufacturing certification and/or related machining certification considered in lieu of experience.
• Experience using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
