ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
- Communication with previous shift material handlers on any updates from previous shift’s work.
- Verify pallet specifications.
- De-staging current job and staging for next job includes pallets and item count
- Accountable for retrieving raw materials and supplies for production.
- Packing supplies for current job and moving skids.
- Pre-staging for next job includes gathering raw materials, product and packing supplies
- De-staging completed jobs including returning any un-used materials, product and packing supplies
- Operate material handling equipment to safely load machinery with material.
- Obtain pallets, boxes, bottoms and dividers to take plastic bails off and to load the truck with the plastic bails.
- Visualize and measure pallet size with correct box.
- Record type of plastic and weight size.
- Transports materials to and from storage to designated area using forklift, pallet jack, carts and other devices.
- Carry out assignments in a timely, diligent and safe manner.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or uses hand pallet jack and cleans work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds, to assist machine operators.
- Maintain assigned lines in a clean and orderly condition; follow all safety policies and procedures including GMP practices to meet company standards.
- Keeps the flow of the process moving at a fast and steady pace.

Qualifications And Education Requirements- High School Diploma
- 1 Year Forklift Experience Required

Hours:
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday, OT as necessary
Compensation for this position can be up to $18.00/hr actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job related factors. We are committed to fair and equitable competition practices.
