The CNC Operator II is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machines. This role works with a variety of products, performs machine programming adjustments as needed, and provides guidance to less experienced CNC operators.

• Review work orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine setup requirements and machining procedures.
• Install cutting tools, secure materials, edit programs, and operate CNC equipment to produce quality parts.
• Monitor machine operations, inspect completed work using precision measuring instruments, and ensure specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, resolve production errors, and communicate with supervisors or programmers when variances occur.
• Provide guidance to CNC Operator I team members and assist with advanced machining challenges.

• High school diploma required.
• 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience for a CNC Operator II role.
• Experience working with CNC equipment such as HAAS or similar machining centers.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with Solid Works, G-code, Mastercam, 2D/3D programming, and mechanical troubleshooting is highly preferred.
