We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager – OEM to expand our market presence, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer relationships. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our headquarters in Huntley, IL, reporting directly to the Director of Sales. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and operations leadership to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand relationships with OEM purchasers, engineers, and lighting designers, showcasing LTF’s product advantages and capabilities.
- Grow sales within lighting manufacturers, electrical distributors, and national sales channels.
- Achieve and exceed territory sales, pricing, and profit margin goals.
- Partner with internal engineering and marketing teams to deliver customized solutions and support customer requirements.
- Ensure continuity of customer relationships at all organizational levels.
- Provide management with sales forecasts, market insights, competitor analysis, and trend reports.
- Deliver timely follow-up and resolution to customer requests and technical inquiries.
- Represent LTF at trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits to promote new business opportunities.
- Take on additional responsibilities aligned with sales and growth objectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven success identifying, qualifying, and developing OEM customer relationships in a B2B environment.
- 3+ years in manufacturing sales, with experience in both custom design-to-order and stocked inventory sales models.
- Strong technical aptitude; experience in electronics, LED lighting, or mechanical manufacturing preferred.
- Skilled in multi-channel sales management, including OEM and distribution networks.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms (experience with Global Shop ERP a plus).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Lighting industry background is highly desirable but not required.
- Must demonstrate a self-starter mindset, enthusiasm, and drive to exceed sales targets.
