The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Logistics team in Huntley, IL, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, accurate order fulfillment, and overall warehouse operations that support our customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do Shipping (Primary Focus – 50%)- Pick and prepare orders using FIFO standards
- Stage and pack orders according to customer requirements
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers
- Process shipments using UPS, Fed Ex, and customer portals
- Receive inbound air and sea shipments
- Store materials in designated locations
- Record and manage incoming shipments in the system
- Process transactions in SAP
- Create advanced shipping notices and invoices via EDI platforms
- Support basic assembly of components (e.g., wiper arms)
- Follow documented procedures and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support forklift charging and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Assist with returned product evaluation and handling
- Support team initiatives and additional operational needs
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (data entry, systems navigation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Forklift certification (preferred)
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude
