The SCI Huntsville Accountant II (Revenue Accountant) will be responsible for maintaining contract records for ASC 606 revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and accurate revenue recognition and timely financial reporting. This role will work closely with the SCI Contracts team as well as the SCI Program Management group.

The Accountant II will report to the Division Controller. This role has growth potential and high visibility within Sanmina Corp and will interface with internal and external auditors and internal leadership.

• Develop and execute efficient accounting practices and controls; challenge and improve effective processes.
• Work closely with the SCI Contract/SCI FP&A team to develop insightful integrated financial forecasts.
• Collect and interpret financial data to influence, recommend or compel management toward logical decisions consistent with company objectives.
• Identify any potential risk consistent with direction provided by the Division Controller and Corporate Accounting.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5‑7 years in revenue accounting with federal contracting experience.
• ASC 606 revenue recognition principles understanding and practical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) preferred; integrated financial systems (Oracle Projects preferred), cost accounting/analysis in an actual‑job order cost environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management are essential.
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
