We are currently seeking a highly organized and results-driven Drawback Advisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing duty drawback claims, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for a set of clients, ensuring satisfaction and providing proactive communication regarding their duty drawback needs.
* Collaborate with clients to resolve any issues, answer inquiries, and maintain long-term partnerships.
Operational Management:
* Oversee the timely and accurate filing of duty drawback claims, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
* Manage the operational aspects of the drawback process, including documentation preparation, submission, and follow-up.
Sales Support:
* Occasionally collaborate with the sales team to support the promotion and sales of duty drawback services to potential and existing clients.
* Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Reporting and Documentation:
* Ensure proper documentation and records of all duty drawback activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files.
* Provide regular reports on performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency to management.
Process Improvement:
* Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance client satisfaction.
* Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the service offering.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in duty drawback
* 8 years experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (Preferably a licensed broker)
Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to client issues.
* Ability to support and contribute to sales efforts and business development activities.
