RGI currently seeks an Asphalt Roller Operator for its Alabama SMA operations in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will report directly to the Area Construction Managers and be responsible for operating asphalt rollers, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety, quality, and production goals.

- Fulltime/Permanent position
- Day shift, with weekend work and overtime as required

- Operate asphalt rollers as directed by the working foreman and superintendent
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency in challenging terrain environments
- Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
- Conduct daily pre‑ and post‑inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
- Maintain effective communication skills relevant to the position
- Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe work procedures
- Minimum of 1–2 years of asphalt roller operator experience
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights as required
- Team player, with the ability to follow supervisor direction for daily tasks and project expectations
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site, or highway construction and paving
- Perform general labor duties and other tasks as assigned
