Dental Assistant

We have a very exciting opportunity for the right person. We are in need of an exceptional dental assistant for our fun, energetic, busy practice. We offer competitive pay, IRA with employer match, and a 3.5 day work week. Our team is paid on guaranteed pay-per-period, so you get paid even on our vacation weeks, and we also offer a bonus.

This is a low turnover office, so we are looking for someone who wants a new career, not a job. Attitude is everything! You will be expected to be a team player and jump in whenever you are needed. If you "just suction and set up rooms," this is not the office for you.

At this time we are unable to consider candidates with no experience as a chair-side dental assistant (minimum 2 years), and here are a few additional requirements:

• CPR Certification.
• Staying on schedule.
• Doing a thorough examination and interview with patients and communicating your findings to the patient before the Dr. enters the room.
• You are not diagnosing, you are just sharing your observations and taking pictures of your findings.
• We will teach you what to look for and how to talk with patients.
• Reviewing the existing treatment on the treatment plan and why it was recommended.
• Being on time for work EVERY day.
• Schedule is M-W 8:30-5:00, Thursday 7-12.
• Coverage during vacation weeks is on a rotating basis between team members.
• A great smile and friendly attitude.
• A person who builds a connection with their patients. We treat our patients like family, literally.
• A person who wants to grow both professionally and personally.

Here are some things that will help, but aren't required:

• Familiarity with Eagle Soft and intra-oral camera.
• Experience with Cone Beam CT and intra-oral scanners, particularly iTero.
