The neurosurgeon will maintain an academic faculty rank (open rank, non-tenure-earning) and a strong relationship with the university's academic education and research programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assigned one day of elective, outpatient-only operating at an ambulatory surgery center.
  • Take neurosurgical call at the inpatient hospital, shared among neurosurgeons and a small private practice, estimated at approximately 5–7 days per month.
  • Engage with resident education at the main campus through resident teaching conferences and related educational activities.
Qualifications
  • Board-certified or board-eligible general neurosurgeon, with a strong interest in spine-focused practice.
  • Willingness to join and contribute to an existing community of neurosurgeons in a community-hospital environment.
  • Interest in academic education and research collaboration with the university.
