MED is actively seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join our thriving team in Huntsville, Alabama. • Team includes 25 physicians and 24 advanced practice providers, including 4 fellowship-trained spine surgeons.
• Integrated on-site services for streamlined care:
• MRI
• Physical & Occupational Therapy
• DME
• Orthotics & Prosthetics
• Urgent Care & Injection Therapy
• Utilizes Mod Med EMR system for efficient documentation.
• New, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center opening in early 2027, staffed with experienced spine personnel.

• Clinical Focus:
  Primarily degenerative spine cases, with a typical surgical case mix of 60% lumbar / 40% cervical.
• Schedule:
  
  Balanced workload with 2.5 clinic days and 2.5 OR days per week.
• Call:
  Spine call is shared among the spine surgeons for a single hospital, described as “easily manageable.”
• Culture:

• BC/BE in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training or planned fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑focused, collaborative approach.
• Eligible for or holding a valid Alabama medical license.
