CHIEF ENGINEER
Join our team as the Chief Engineer driving cutting-edge DoD programs and shaping the future of mission critical systems. In this role, you'll provide high-level technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines, guide major design reviews, influence strategic decisions and help define the engineering standards that keep complex programs on track. You'll collaborate closely with program managers to align scope, budget and schedules while mentoring a talented engineering workforce and fostering innovation.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, Aerospace or related; Master's degree preferred).
- 12+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep familiarity with DoD programs, systems engineering processes (i.e., PDR, CDR) and program lifecycle.
- Past experience working with TDPs (technical data package) and budgets
- Strong strategic decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Ability to travel, if needed.
- Provide overarching technical leadership across engineering disciplines in alignment with DoD program requirements.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, best practices and systems-level oversight.
- Lead design reviews, systems integration and technical risk assessments, Engineering Change Boards
- Coordinate with program managers to align technical scope, schedule, budget and deliverables.
- Represent engineering leadership in senior-level status reviews.
- Mentor engineering staff, foster innovation, and drive workforce development.
- Other duties as assigned.
