Position: Electrical Engineer with Security Clearance
Position Summary
The Electrical Engineer – Hypersonic Systems will support electrical hardware development across the full product lifecycle, from requirements and design through integration, test, and delivery. This role requires hands‑on engineering experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, secure development environment.
The engineer will collaborate across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), including systems engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure successful delivery of complex hardware.

Key Responsibilities Manage electrical hardware through the full product lifecycle (design, build, integration, test, and delivery)
Define, interpret, and implement electrical design requirements
Design, review, and support schematic, CCA/PCB, and cable harness development
Support assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) activities for launcher, ground, and support equipment
Troubleshoot electrical hardware issues and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support failure investigations, material review processes, and discrepancy documentation and resolution
Interface with manufacturing, planning, quality, and systems teams to support hardware delivery
Work directly with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve technical and integration issues
Present technical data, risks, and solutions to leadership and government customers
Track and manage day‑to‑day technical assignments to meet aggressive program schedules
Communicate technical risks, issues, and resource needs to program leadership

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Experience with electrical engineering fundamentals, including schematic and CCA/PCB design
Hands‑on experience troubleshooting electrical hardware and components
Experience supporting hardware integration and test in a lab or production environment
Ability to work under general direction and independently develop technical solutions
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, classified development environment
Active or current DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret a plus) Desired Experience

Experience with hypersonic, missile, launcher, or complex defense systems

Experience with Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

Experience with command and control hardware or mission‑critical electronics
Experience working with hardware suppliers and subcontracted vendors
Familiarity with failure investigation, MRB, and corrective action processes
Experience presenting technical information to leadership and customers Tools & Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:
Zuken
PSPICE / LTSPICE
MATLAB
Mathcad
LabVIEW Experience using CAD tools such as Creo (or similar)
Experience performing Worst Case Analysis (WCA)

Experience with cable harness design, fabrication, and assembly

Experience with CCA/PCB design or analysis Compensation: $70/hr to $80/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
