Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Senior MBSE Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide senior technical and advisory assistance to the Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products.
Responsibilities- Serve as architect for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program office
- Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs
- Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the (GRA) in Cameo
- Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs
- Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects OR a Master's degree and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects (Experience with Cameo SysML)
- Expert Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working on DoD Systems
- Ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools
- Experience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF))
- Familiarity with MDA programs and processes
- Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons
- Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NG
- Exposure to MDA test events and activities
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
