Mechanical Engineer – Loads & Dynamics
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Loads & Dynamics to support the analysis, development, and verification of complex aerospace and defense systems. The role focuses on structural loads development, dynamic analysis, and structural integrity assessment across the product lifecycle—from concept development through test and flight operations. The selected candidate will work in a collaborative, cross‑functional engineering environment supporting missile, space, or launch vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and analyze static and dynamic load cases for flight and ground systems.
- Perform structural dynamics analyses including modal, transient, shock, vibration, and coupled load analyses.
- Generate and correlate finite element models to test data.
- Support structural qualification and acceptance testing (vibration, acoustic, shock, modal survey, etc.).
- Perform rigid body and flexible body dynamic simulations.
- Evaluate structural margins and document results in formal technical reports.
- Collaborate with design, stress, systems, manufacturing, and test engineering teams.
- Support design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and customer briefings.
