Responsibilities
- Supports the development, implementation, and sustainment of quality engineering standards across hardware, software, and service offerings
- Performs technical assessments and pre-production reviews, including design readiness and production readiness evaluations, to identify risks and ensure system quality
- Reviews and validates engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data packages to confirm accuracy, traceability, and configuration alignment
- Manages and maintains configuration baselines, ensuring changes are documented, reviewed, approved, and controlled throughout the system lifecycle
- Develops and maintains quality, configuration, and compliance documentation, ensuring consistency with established SOPs and program standards
- Conducts non-intrusive inspections, document reviews, and analytical evaluations of system components and subcomponents for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and supporting equipment
- Collaborates with Engineering, Production, and Program Management teams to analyze issues, support root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions
- Enables engineering analysis and cost estimate process

Required ExperienceRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Eight (8) years of relevant technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Experience working with quality management systems, configuration control, or compliance processes
- Strong analytical skills with a detail- and process-oriented approach to problem solving
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Previous aircraft or DoD background
