Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is hiring an Experienced Product Review Engineer (Liaison Engineer) to join the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) team located in Huntsville, AL. This engineer will perform/support troubleshooting, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) technical analysis and provide solutions to non-conforming products. This position will work directly with cross‑functional and production engineering teams to meet production program objectives.

Boeing Huntsville has multi‑year contracts to develop, manufacture, and test the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC‑3) missile seeker and future improvements. These contracts are driving significant, long‑term growth for the PAC‑3 engineering team on the Huntsville campus.

This position is for C Shift.

• C Shift: F/Sa/Su; 3x12 – Starts at 6am
• Shift may be eligible for a shift differential and is subject to availability

• Applies basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout the production lifecycle
• Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design nonconformances
• Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues to develop interim and final engineering solutions
• Provides written dispositions for routine design nonconformances
• Participates in Material Review Boards
• Represents the engineering community in the production environment, providing lineside support
• Recommends simple non‑destructive test procedures, tools, standards
• Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards
• Develops and implements product/process improvements
• This position may require shift flexibility, based on business needs
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed, based on business needs
• Non‑standard work week options may also be utilized to meet business objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post‑Start is required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑U.S. equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• Knowledge of repair concepts and methodologies including standard repair processes, component repair concepts, structural and composite repair procedures, and basic electrical repair procedures, and basic system repair processes
• 3+ years of experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB/LE) Authority (including participating in Material Review Board and Integrated Product Team activities related to repairs)
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

• 5+ year Material Review Board Certification experience
• 5+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• 5+ years Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge.
• Experience in solving simple to complex problems.
• 5+ years Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology
• Knowledge of circuit card manufacturing, including Selective Solder and SMT.
• 5 + years Functional system level testing.
