Secret Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS
* This position is for 3rd shift, including weekends. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR A 3rd SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE.
* High School Diploma or GED
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work overtime as required.
* Capable of working in hazardous environments, including extreme temperatures.
* Capable of obtaining and maintaining explosive certification level II.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
* Must be a US Citizen.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
* Associates degree in a technical field.
* Experience with PLCs.
* Previous experience working as a technician.
* Technical writing skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work as part of a team of technicians and operators to conduct environmental testing.
* Ensure that all instrumentation/test equipment is properly maintained and set up.
* Monitor tests and record data, using both manual and automated means, and perform data compliance and consistency checks.
* Ensure that simulated environments such as rain, salt, fog, high and low temperature, high and low humidity, altitude, etc. are properly calibrated and maintained.

* Create documents that pertain to test failures and anomalies.
* Perform routine checks on equipment for visual issues or maintenance needs.
