JRC is actively searching for an experienced Senior Technical Advisor for Missile Defense to join our team! In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) establishment of a new Program Office. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of missile defense capabilities, providing senior‑level support in defining, managing, and executing requirements traceability.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Drive the advancement, oversight, and strategic planning of both existing and emerging missile defense systems.
- Offer expert guidance in defining, managing, and executing requirements traceability with precision.
- Lead the establishment and operation of the MDA Program Office, ensuring its success and growth.
- Cultivate collaborative technical exchanges within the MDA engineering community to enhance innovation and synergy.
- Master’s degree in a STEM field
- 20+ years of relevant professional experience
- An Active DoD security clearance at the Secret level (or above)
- Technical expertise supporting government and contracting staff in systems and digital engineering
- Experience in the development, management, and planning for current and future capabilities as they relate to missile defense, specifically the functional portion of the system
- Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and providing recommendations on the development, addition, variances, and changes to functional requirements as well as providing quality checks on technical documentation and products
- Senior‑level experience in document development, presentations, change requests, and other engineering products
- Experience with interacting and supporting high‑level government customers (Senior NH‑4 director‑level and above)
- Understanding of Industry/DoD engineering best practices, complemented with mature communication skills
- Master’s degree in a STEM field
- 20+ years of relevant professional experience
