Position: Principal Systems Engineer Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) (Onsite)

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in integration and flight test efforts on the Integrated Fires Protection Center (IFPC) system integration and test program, planning and executing lab and field test activities.
  • Make cost and schedule decisions to meet monthly and annual reporting requirements.
  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test meets specifications and requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data, preparing detailed reports of test results.
  • Create and revise documentation for formal testing reviews, including Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
  • Support field testing, including occasional travel of one to two weeks.
  • Assist with proposal and Engineering Change Activity (EAC) activities.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other Integrated Product Teams, program leadership, customers, and business associates.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in system integration and test.
  • Experience in developing test plans and procedures.
  • Experience with verification and validation methods.
  • Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Integrated Product Team Lead experience.
  • Experience evaluating requirements and applying verification and validation methods.
  • Certification as a Program Manager Level 6 or ability to obtain within first year.
  • Experience collaborating with program leadership and partner IPTs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience creating integration and verification strategies.
  • Electrical engineering experience or exposure.
  • Background in effects and systems of systems.

Salary Range: $107,500 - $204,500 per year.
