About the NGI Program
The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program is a cornerstone of the nation's missile defense strategy. We develop and deploy cutting-edge technologies to detect, track, and neutralize evolving threats-ensuring global security for decades to come.
The Role
We're looking for a Project Engineer to support the Mission Support Vehicle (MSV) program management team.
Responsibilities
* Be the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the MSV LOE accounts, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, schedule, and cost targets.
* Manage the account's budget, forecast cost performance, and implement corrective actions to address variances and keep the program within approved financial limits.
* Develop and communicate the Integrated Product Teams most likely cost estimates.
* Maintain, track, and analyze staffing forecasts and metrics.
* Assist MSV leadership team in data consolidation, metric generation, and cross organization coordination.
* Support project engineers across the MSV team.
Basic Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of earned value management (EVM) principles and practices.
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
* Ability to support coordination between multiple teams and multiple locations
Desired
Skills:
* Previous experience as CAM or relative comparable experience
* Experience with the NGI program
* Positive/self-starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived roadblocks
* Demonstrated effective communication skills, to include briefing senior leaders
* Self-driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Experience leading others
Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
