Lead Program Quality Engineer

• Lead other Program Quality Engineers with duties performed.
• Responsible for maintaining and enforcing processes in the test and production environment.
• Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
• Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members; may communicate with parties external to the organization.
• Review and sign timecards for accuracy.
• Inspect components and assembled parts IAW drawings.
• Review and approve assembly instructions.
• Approve procurement requisitions.
• Read and understand drawings and technical data packages.
• Write non‑conformances and complete RCCA activities, including review of those completed by other Quality Engineers.
• Interface with Government and PM customer to ensure product compliance on delivery.
• Complete CDRL data requirements.
• Completion and verification of certificates of conformance IAW contractual requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Quality Program Manager.

• The candidate must have a BS degree and 8–12 years of prior relevant experience or a MS degree and 6–10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
• Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
• Must have experience with an electrical test environment and test equipment in the IFFP Program.
• Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers.
• Experience in an ISO
  9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer‑generated inspection reports.
• Candidates must have computer skills and can use software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville‑North Alabama, AL area at their own expense.
• Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Experience with government contract and SOW interpretation.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Previous auditing experience.

Pay Range: $92,300 - $166,850
