Join a high-impact national defense initiative as a Senior Systems Engineer supporting the Dark Eagle – Long Range Hypersonic Weapon program. This role provides advanced technical, engineering, and advisory support to the Lead Systems Engineer in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the systems engineering framework for one of the Army’s most strategic weapons programs.

• Serve as a senior technical advisor to the Lead Systems Engineer.
• Provide expert‑level systems engineering support across the program lifecycle.
• Identify, analyze, and document system design, interface, and verification/validation requirements.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation to support integration, testing, and programmatic activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the Dark Eagle program.
• Lead or support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), including action tracking and coordination.
• Present complex technical concepts and findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, etc.).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in system design, interface definition, and verification/validation processes.
• Familiarity with missile and weapon system components, interfaces, and performance characteristics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, high‑tempo environment.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.

• Master’s degree in a STEM field.
• 12+ years of experience in systems engineering or related work.
• Working knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools (e.g., Cameo, Magic Draw, SysML).
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems or hypersonic technologies.
