Electrical Engineer (Onsite - Tucson, AZ)
Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Hardware Test Engineer to support the design, integration, and troubleshooting of engineering and production test systems. In this onsite Tucson role, you will play a key part in developing test solutions across hardware components and system-level architectures while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of test hardware-from concept and design through validation and production support.

What You'll Do

+ Design, integrate, and support hardware for engineering and production test systems

+ Develop test solutions including cabling, schematics, interface assemblies, and system-level configurations

+ Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in both lab and production environments

+ Partner closely with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, and test) to ensure robust and scalable solutions

+ Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and system performance

Required Qualifications

+ Experience designing and integrating hardware for test systems, interface assemblies, or related components

+ Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in engineering labs and/or production settings

+ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with schematic capture, cabling design, and/or circuit analysis

+ Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) or production test workflows

+ Ability to balance technical requirements with cost and schedule constraints in a structured environment

Experience Level

+ Mid-level (typically 2-5+ years of relevant experience)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
