Senior Electrical Engineer within the Hardware Engineering Directorate, focusing on digital electronics design for missile guidance, video and digital signal processing systems.
Responsibilities- Design, analyze, simulate, test and integrate digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for missile applications.
- Design and develop hardware circuits with processors, FPGAs, memory and industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI and UART.
- Support products across environments ranging from sub‑zero vacuum of space to extreme desert heat and high‑pressure ocean depths.
- Work 100% onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Minimum of five years experience in digital circuit design.
- Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs and/or multi‑assembly system/unit design.
- Experience taking design concepts from block diagram or requirements level to complete hardware designs with verification through test and integration.
- Experience with PCB design process and tools, including schematic capture analysis and simulation.
- Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools:
DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, and/or Expedition. - Experience with PCB electronic circuit design software:
Hyper Lynx signal integrity, power integrity and analog simulation, and/or Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB).
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Eligible for relocation. Specific benefits vary by business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.
