Radar​/RF Tracking Engineer

Job Description

Radar/RF Tracking Engineer with strong algorithm-development skills and experience in modern tracking techniques. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with composite tracking architectures and advanced filters such as UKF, IMM, MHT, and ideally particle filters. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to next-generation radar/RF tracking performance for mission-critical systems.

• Develop, refine, and evaluate tracking algorithms including composite tracking, UKF, IMM, MHT, and related techniques for radar and RF-based systems.
• Implement algorithms in MATLAB and/or Python and support transition to real-time software when needed.
• Conduct modeling and simulation to assess algorithm performance in diverse scenarios.
• Improve tracker performance by post-processing collected data and analyzing tracking results to identify refinements or enhancements.
• Support system-level design activities including requirements definition, architecture development, integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to troubleshoot challenges, validate performance, and advance program objectives.
• Produce clear technical documentation, analysis summaries, and presentations for internal teams and external customers.
• Contribute to research initiatives, technical roadmaps, and proposal efforts as the company expands its capabilities.

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Math, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Experience with radar or RF systems, with understanding of detection, estimation, and tracking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience developing algorithms in MATLAB and/or Python.
