Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret) before day 1.
Responsibilities- Establish and manage product vision, strategy, and goals to align with multiple contracts and facilitate production line conflict resolution with respect to schedule and capacity.
- Lead a team of multi‑disciplined engineers in support of hardware production, test, and delivery of missile sub‑sections and/or All‑Up‑Round.
- Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across the IPTs and other functions to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Drive positive change within the production environment as a key stakeholder in Failure Review Boards, FRACAS activities, obsolescence resolution, and other continuous improvement efforts.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and/or production support, typically with a STEM degree.
- Experience as technical leader of large engineering teams (Project Management).
- Extensive experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI Y14.5.
- Travel to suppliers and other Raytheon facilities as needed.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to start.
- 12 years of directly related work experience in mechanical design and/or production support.
- Mechanical aptitude to provide solutions to moderate‑scope technical problems.
- Strong technical background with high technical aptitude.
- Strong leadership skills and project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in teams or independently; flexible and proactive.
- Willingness to support design development and production tasks as experience allows.
- Proficiency with Creo (modeling and drawing) and Windchill (PDM).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project).
- Demonstrated ability in technical leadership and execution (e.g., CE or PM).
- Active DoD‑issued security clearance.
USD 132,400 – 251,600.
