What You Will Do- Responsible for printed circuit board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing beginning on day one
- Responsible for library part creation, schematic capture, component placement, routing, and generating Gerber/ODB++ files
- Responsible for documentation using the Mentor Graphics toolset
- Create designs for PCBs, flex and rigid‑flex assemblies
- Daily interface with electrical, mechanical and producibility engineering disciplines to ensure design requirements are captured and achieved
- Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
- Understand the applications of technical theories and concepts in PCB design and manufacturing
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Experience with Xpedition environment or equivalent software tool suite
- Experience with Mentor Graphics or equivalent design tools for PCB design
- Experience designing complex analog, digital, RF, or mixed‑technology PCBs
- Experience in at least three of the following:
Placement, Routing, Auto‑router, Constraint Manager, xDM/xDM Library Client or equivalent library
- Active Secret DoD security clearance
- Experience with multi‑layer designs with HDI technology and/or high‑speed routing including DDR circuitry
- Experience with , Board Station with use of Librarian, Layout and Fablink
- Mechanical design understanding to interpret complex mechanical drawings related to PCBs
- Use of Blue Print to create complex PCB drawings
- Skills in Mentor’s Library Management System

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD. The range is a good faith estimate and may vary based on experience, location, and key skills.
