Role Overview An opportunity is available for a Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Technical Analyst. This role involves evaluating parts, materials, and processes to ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to specifications. The position supports an engineering team focused on space, commercial, and defense air vehicles, providing fabrication support, troubleshooting, and fleet support activities. We are seeking candidates with a range of experience, from early to mid-career levels.

Key Responsibilities
* Apply nondestructive evaluation methods, including acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic principles, for complex analysis and testing.
* Lead and conduct analyses of failed parts and processes to determine root cause and prevent future failures.
* Generate test plans, categorize failures, and document results and recommendations.
* Propose, develop, and validate revisions to procedures and specifications.
* Determine the suitability of parts, materials, and processes, coordinating issue resolution with suppliers and customers.
* Support continuous improvement by designing, fabricating, testing, and implementing new concepts and technology.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
* Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
* Support audits and root cause analyses as a subject matter expert.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** 1+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation.
** Technical

Skills:

** Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems (e.g., CAD/CAM, CATIA, Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics).
** General

Skills:

** Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in NDE/NDT engineering in a regulated industry such as aerospace, defense, or energy.
* Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes such as ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection.
* ASNT Level 2 certification in multiple nondestructive evaluation processes.
* Experience working in multi-discipline teams and with technical and non-technical customers.
* A strong understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics.
* Experience with project management tools.
* Effective time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects.
