Job Summary
A Design Engineer with at least 2 years of professional engineering experience is needed to support and drive design, development, integration, and maintenance of electronics for factory test systems supporting weapon system product development in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities- Prioritize and manage multiple engineering tasks concurrently.
- Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit design and analysis.
- Troubleshoot hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions.
- Interact with Engineering, Operations PTEs, and program personnel to support factory readiness and robustness.
- Develop and derive requirements for hardware and electrical products.
- Minimum 2 years of electrical engineering design experience, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
- Experience with schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) and U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred experience with Altium, DX Designer, Mentor, Creo Schematic, automation, and common hardware interface/protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, RS‑422).
- Experience with analog, digital, and RF design, digital/mixed‑signal integration, and use of integrated development environments and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of the TEE One Page Process and experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server or Git Hub.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Competitive salary range $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
