Senior Precision Analog​/Power Electronics Engineer

A Senior Precision Analog/Power Electronics Engineer designs, specifies, develops, and tests analog and power electronics for applications including switched‑mode power conversion, battery management circuitry, distributed power architectures, wireless power transfer, radiation‑hardened designs, motor controllers, low‑noise power conditioning for precision instrumentation, analog front ends, signal conditioning, analog‑to‑digital conversion, precision feedback systems, and dc/dc conversion. The engineer develops architecture, performs simulations, implements physical layout, and verifies and tests designs throughout the product lifecycle.

• Optimize system designs for reduced size, weight, and power.
• Design new products and develop technical specifications for production.
• Analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions, and test hardware conformance to specifications.
• Drive solutions to complex problems, developing requirements, proposing ways forward when customer requirements are unclear or incomplete, and adapting to changes.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert, developing advanced architectures and designs for complex electronics.
• Participate in business development and proposal activities.
• Identify program‑ and system‑level technical risks, and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
• Manage multidisciplinary tasks with cross‑functional teams and communicate status to project leadership and customers.
• Develop, document, and teach best practices to less experienced teammates.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve program goals.

• Proficient with schematic capture and printed circuit board layout.
• Ability to perform circuit simulation using Spice or other simulation tools.
• Experience with system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or comparable tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.

Candidates selected for this position must obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
