MSRC is seeking a full-time Hardware/Electronics Design Engineer to join a team of engineers and technicians performing research and development for missile systems.
Job Description:
- Design, implement, and test custom FPGA-based systems.
- Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Utilize CAD software to perform schematic capture and layout PCBs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software and systems engineering.
- Support full lifecycle of embedded system: requirements analysis, designing, development, testing, and implementation.
- Write and present technical documentation as required.
- Multi-task amongst different projects and communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with background and understanding embedded systems.
- Well versed in Verilog, VHDL, or other hardware description language.
- Experience in developing firmware to interface with hardware components.
Desired Experiences:
- Familiarity with Altium Designer and NI Lab View.
- Versed in C++ or Python.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
