The Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team seeks an Integration Engineer Team Lead to deliver innovative solutions for defense sector projects, including kinetic and directed energy platforms, radar, and surveillance technologies.
The role requires working directly with customers, contractors, and cross‑functional teams to meet demanding mission objectives.
- Work directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
- Execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
- Create, modify, and use hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
- Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
- Perform test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark, and/or software debug tools.
- Brief internal and external parties on test results and data.
- Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
- Work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Travel minimally for test events (≈ 4 weeks / yr).
- ABET‑accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with ≥ 8 years of experience, or ≥ 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
- Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
- 2–4 years of experience with test planning and execution.
- Experience with radar or RF systems.
- Knowledge of electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator, antenna analyzer, power meter).
- Working knowledge of Python, C, C++, C#, and/or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices.
- Experience with Linux, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Wireshark.
- Experience preparing and presenting briefings or demonstrations to customers and management.
- Planning and executing demonstration tests and U.S. Government test ranges/facilities.
