Aerospace Transparencies Facilities Engineer

As the Aerospace Transparencies Facilities Engineer you will support our two manufacturing facilities in Huntsville, AL. You will handle system upkeep, project planning, and coordination across multiple projects. You will work on‑site at our Huntsville facility and report to the Strategic Planning Engineering Manager.

• Responsible for the status of the facility from the basement to the roof, including air handling units, water systems, air and vacuum systems, and more.
• Maintain facility operations and ensure vital support equipment is functioning properly.
• Support EHS programs such as life‑critical rules throughout the facility.
• Manage all maintenance contracts with vendors, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Coordinate with production and other stakeholders regarding project scheduling and fulfillment.
• Collaborate with maintenance to accomplish tasks.
• Suggest areas for improving facilities operations with a focus on energy savings and equipment uptime.
• Manage budget for facility projects and spending for the facilities department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Five or more years of work experience or project experience related to the upkeep of a factory or facility (preferred).
• Prior leadership experience helpful, but not required.
• Willingness to travel regularly between our two facilities (approximately 20 minutes apart).
• Availability for occasional weekend or evening work to troubleshoot issues.
