Leidos Defense Open Air Sensors Division is seeking a Radar Test/Integration Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex sensor and radar orientated problems. This position affords new or experienced engineers continued opportunities to learn and grow in technical knowledge of sensor and radar systems. The department encourages and frequently incorporates new ideas from all employees into our many sensor projects which span the entire DoD ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities- Software installation integration, and testing of RF sensors and systems
- CONUS deployment and operation of RF sensors and systems
- Linux server installation and maintenance, including network installation and management
- Linux server user administration
- Authoring of formal test plans and procedures and documenting the results of test events
- A variety of tasks related to signal processing, measurement tracker processing, system performance metrics, sensor simulation, or utility tools as part of larger efforts or customer goals will be assigned. In this role, your organizational skills will be paramount in managing multiple tasks.
- BS degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2-4 years of applicable experience
- Experience working with Matlab, Python, or similar programming languages
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background
- Experience with formal software testing
- Experience implementing a methodical testing approach
- Experience developing automated tests
- Experience authoring and maintaining test plans and procedures
- Proficiency with Linux administration and scripting
- Proficiency with network setup and maintenance in a Linux environment
- Experience installing, utilizing, and managing containerized software applications (e.g., Docker or Podman)
- Proficiency with Dev Sec Ops and CI/CD pipelines in a Git Lab environment
- Highly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environment
- 100% onsite
- Must be a US citizen possess, or able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville
- MS degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Active Top-secret clearance
- Experience in high-performance computing languages such as C++, including CUDA
- Experience in the operation of radar HWILs
- Experience working on any radar-related program or project
- Ability to create design documentation, requirements specifications, and other technical documentation
